Customer Service & Sales/Graphic Design

Customer Service team members help with all aspects of sales and customers service, including graphic design. The primary goal is to help serve our clients, coordinate with production, and reach target sales goals individually and as a team. This role is a mentally strategic, creative yet analytical position. Every day is exciting and full of rewarding creative operational strategy engaging clients all over the nation. Prior customer service experience in the screen printing, promotional products, or signage industry would be a great fit, however, other skills and experience could still qualify for consideration for this position. If you have history in any of these other industries or if you have a graphic design background with customer service, and you would like to see your hard work go from your computer screen to production then hand off to smiling customers on a daily basis, this may be a good position for you! We hire all team members with a 90 day temporary hiring period, and the potential to transfer into an official “Permanent” position at the end of the temporary time frame.
This position is hourly and could be part time or full time, depending on the needs of the business. To be discussed during the interview process.
Pay rate or Salary based on prior experience, amount of training required, and other applicable considerations.
Please be prepared to share your portfolio. Experience with social media marketing would be a huge asset as well, but is not required for this position. Additional Program/Application knowledge: Shopworks, InkSoft, ASI and ESP, WordPress is also greatly appreciated but not required.
Core Responsibilities

- Assists with customer service and sales via telephone, email, and face-to-face interaction
- Must leverage personality, communication and design skills to hit daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Works hand-in-hand with other office team members to ensure timely delivery of art proofs and other art/design needs
- Must be able to type minimum of 40 words per minute and have great perceivable energy via email
- Woks hand-in-hand with production team members on projects throughout the day
- Utilizes customer database and other systems to save design and print information for future use per customer, per order
- Exceeds individual and team sales goals through customer service and communication and other strategies
- Helps manage production schedule with sales team on a daily and weekly basis to ensure orders are printed and shipped in a timely manner
- Coordinates with production regarding job-specific print details
- Checks and inspects print quality to insure each print matches the proof
- Helps with some specific garment decoration such as vinyl application, patch application, digital printing, and embroidery
- Assists with other decoration processes
- Researches products and processes online that will continue personal learning and growth
- Uses the internet for trouble shooting tips and techniques when necessary
- Helps monitor inventory of supplies to ensure production stays in motion
- Coordinates and establishes working relationships with our large network of suppliers and manufacturers via phone and email
- Assists with other general office and business needs, such as office organization and workplace cleanliness, mail, and managing of purchase orders
- Expands and develops online program during down-time (no experience required)
- Leverages different or similar programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Apple Mail/Gmail/Google Docs, Google Sheets
- Should be understanding or proficient with use of Mac/Apple computers or otherwise be a quick learn
- Contributes to the internal team culture and external company reputation by respecting themselves and others with a focus on being a team-player
Graphic Design Requirements
- Must be STRONG and QUICK with Adobe CC
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is necessary, but could be part of training over time
- Mastery of Typography, Drawing, and Illustration is crucial
- Creates art files and proofs quickly and efficiently based on customer requests in Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop
- Rebuilds logos in vector format for print quality assurance
- Creates original artwork for customer needs and modifies existing art files for updates or as specified for internal use
- Creates output files to specifications with consideration for imprint area, garment color, ink colors, and garment type
- Learns to use and leverage other design programs and applications for customer services and project purposes
- Please be prepared to share your portfolio
- Experience with social media marketing would be a huge asset as well, but is not required for this position
Physical and Functional Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move boxes that weigh up to 40lbs and help customers load their cars with orders
- Must be able to use eyes and vision to see small details in order to ensure product decoration and print quality
- Must be able to see color and nuances of color tones in order to ensure accurate prints
- Must be able to read english
- Must be able to comfortably and safely perform repetitive motion behaviors with arms, wrist, back, and shoulders
- Must be able to stand and move around on foot, however this position is mostly desk related
- Requires the ability to lean over tables in order to fold garments from time to time
- This position requires strategic math and creative problem-solving mentality
- Works well with others and has strong communication skills with team members and clients
- Must be good or excellent at planning, systematic organization, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- Demonstrates commitment to focus and observation while multi-tasking
- Must be able to learn and be willing to learn new techniques, strategies, and applications
- Implements learnings and systems to improve efficiency
- Must have prior experience with reaching and exceeding sales or otherwise specific measurable goals in a timely manner
