Production Team Member & Press Operator

Production team members help with all aspects of production including but not limited to receiving inventory, ensuring quality and fulfillment, effective use of different machinery necessary for the garment decoration process, including mastering and successfully operating industrial screen printing presses.
This role is a physical and active position. Every day is exciting and full of rewarding creative operational strategy. Prior work experience in the screen printing, promotional products, or signage industry would be a great fit, however, other skills and experience could still qualify for consideration for this position.
There are several roles and positions that all Production Team members perform throughout the hours, days, and weeks. Ideally each team member should be able to shift in and out of any production position in order to support the needs of the business, contributing to a strong team that is cross trained and strong in all areas.
Core Responsibilities

- Must leverage personality, communication, mechanical and physical related problem solving skills to hit hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
- Works hand-in-hand with office team members to ensure timely delivery of completed projects and supreme execution of quality decoration
- Ensures quality at every step through focus and attention to detail
- Helps with some specific garment decoration such as vinyl application, patch application, digital printing, and embroidery
- Assists with other decoration processes
- Researches products and processes online that will continue personal learning and growth
- Uses the internet for trouble shooting tips and techniques when necessary
- Helps monitor inventory of supplies to ensure production stays in motion
- Coordinates and establishes working relationships with our vendors and suppliers via phone and email
- Assists with other general business needs, including but not limited to organization, cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep
- Contributes to the internal team culture and external company reputation by respecting themselves and others with a focus on being a team-player
Physical and Functional Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move boxes that weigh up to 40lbs and help customers load their cars with orders
- Must be able to use eyes and vision to see small details in order to ensure product decoration and print quality
- Must be able to see color and nuances of color tones in order to ensure accurate prints
- Must be able to read english
- Must be able to comfortably and safely perform repetitive motion behaviors with arms, wrist, back, and shoulders
- Must be able to stand and move around on foot for 8+ hours a day
- Requires the ability to lean over tables in order to fold garments
- This position requires mechanical inclination and problem solving mentality
- Works well with others and has strong communication skills
- Strategic planning, systematic organization, attention to detail, and thoroughness are required skills
- Demonstrates commitment to focus and observation while multi-tasking
- Must be able to learn and be willing to learn new techniques, strategies, and applications
- Implements learnings and systems to improve efficiency
- Must demonstrate ability to reliably and successfully operate industrial screen printing presses with accuracy, while ensuring quality prints and placements (after training period)
- Must have prior experience with reaching and exceeding fulfillment goals in a timely manner
- Must have good spacial awareness and demonstrate excellent hand/eye coordination
Additional Expectations
This role is for Production/Press Operator, however, every team member supports each other in the following ways from time to time, as needed.
- All team members help support different production needs from time to time.
- All team members help count and inventory goods pre and post production in order to ensure quality standards are met
- All team members understand and can order goods and supplies per customer order and inventory needs from time to time
- All team members can help with production needs including exposing and rinsing screens and helping with the print process from time to time
- All team members help with shipping and receiving by monitoring UPS and USPS from time to time
- May be asked to drive for work purposes from time to time
- Must be committed to the completion of the project(s) even if it means staying a little later or coming in early
