Health and Safety Disclaimer

Screen reclaiming requires the use of detergents and chemicals to free ink and emulsion from the screen. Although these detergents and chemicals are generally considered safe, we have found that some people who have skin sensitivities may not want to continue applying for this position as wearing of gloves and a respirator mask can cause agitation for some who have skin sensitivity challenges, however, most people have no issues. We encourage all team members to take care of their skin and communicate if they have any concerns or observations. A respirator mask is NOT required to be worn for the entire shift, but we do require all team members to wear their respirator masks during portions of the reclaiming process as added protection because micro droplets can become aerosolized. We provide each team member with a brand new respirator mask, disposable gloves, rubber gloves (if needed or requested), and a water proof apron. Respirator replacement filters are available when needed. Additional supplies and considerations are also available.
